Structure, classification of bearings (bearings) of air compressors

Bearings consist of outer ring, inner ring, ball roller and retaine. Bearing is made of  chromium carbon and cage is made of hard steel. In order to select a highly approciated bearing, it is necessary to understand the design and characteristics of each of the different types of bearings.

 Bearing 

 1.Ball/roller bearing
- Include: outer ring, inner ring, roller and cage.

- Roller has following styles: ball, cyclindrical roller, taper roller, spherical roller, needle roller.

- Classifications:

 - Pros and cons of some common bearings

1/ Deep groove ball bearings:
   It is the most common because of various of types: Z   2Z     RS1  2RS1. This type of bearing is under  radial load, axial load and high speed limit

2/ Single row bearing

The gloove of the inner and outer ring are made with contact angle. This bearing is inseparable. The ball number is fitted more than the deep groove ball bearings. This type is under radial, axial force but it canonly bear the axial force in a certain direction. Usually, it is combined 2 kind of bearings, they can bear the axial load caused by the radial load. 3/ Double row bearing.
The structure of this bearing is similar to attaching two round bearings to block the one-angle contact block in a back-to-back connection. These bearings can bear radial loads, moment forces and axial loads on both sides. Cấu trúc vòng bi này tương tự gần như gắn 2 vòng bi tròn đỡ chặn tiếp xúc góc một dãy ghép theo kiểu lưng đối lưng.    Những loại vòng bi này có thể chịu tải hướng tâm, lực moment và tải trọng hướng trục ở cả 2 phía.

Self-aligning ball bearings 

This bearing has two rows of ball connected to the outer ring and sphere. Thanks to this design, bearings can operate in conditions of shaft deflection which is suitable for long shaft.Used in low axial load applications due to the slight support of the shaft of the ball by the groove of outer ring.
5/ Taper roller bearing.
Taper roller bearing structure is one of the simplest structure in all radial bearings. It is used for high speed applications. Because the inner ring, outer ring and shaft are on a straight line, so it can bear a high radial load.
